i was thinking of ways to increase a car power and fuel efficiency, think this might work?
if you would to use three smaller electric motors one too rotate the belts the other two would work intermittently when the the car is quickly accelerating but will remain off while the car is accelerating at cruising speed and both motors would be adjacent on the flywheel it would use two alternator one connected to the regular pulley and powerd by the electric motor and the other connected to the engine. you see any problems with this it is just hypothetical i dont actually plan to do this.

you know what does work ! reducing the weight – do you really need heated / ac seats , a rear view mirror that darkens, power windows, power seats, key-less entry, a trunk that closes its self, seats that fold them self, a 7 inch dvd navigation screen, a 60 lb sub box, 20 inch rims, dual climate control, rear back up camera, power side mirror, radio controls on your steering wheel, a heated steering wheel , remote start, rain sensing wiper blades, a refrigerated glove box. Seriously.

car power – NOS
fuel efficiency – GREEN CAR WITH NOS
simple solution to everything

The only “issue” I see with your idea is that less is more. Cars like the current Toyota Prius already use fully electric powered water pumps and other accessories (power steering, A/C compressors etc.) with no belts whatsoever required to run them. By doing this engineers can turn these accessories on or off as necessary rather than powering them constantly via a belt or multiple belt drives and wasting fuel spinning a belt to drive accessories in the first place.

A few ways to make the car a efficient without too much money:
-Replace spark plugs with platinum or iradium plug.
-At the same time replace plug wires with higher end ones that give
more current, as well as cap and rotor replacement.
- Change the oil every 3,000-3,500 miles, keeps the engine free of sludge deposits.
- Change transmission/drivetrain fluids every 30,000 miles.
- Make sure catalyst converter and muffler are in good condition, otherwise will lose power and fuel economy will go way down when plugged up.
- all unnecessary weight, such as tools and other things left on the back seat.
- Tire pressure should always be full on all 4 tires.
-Don’t go full throttle at every stop light, go a slower steady speed.
Put in higher octane fuel to save some gas.

An alternator driven by an electric motor will not put out as much power as the power consumed by the motor. You do not get energy for free.

my suggestion: put some Rewitec in your engine. This product increases the lifetime of the engine, reduces fuel consumption and increases power/torque! check their website. I got their product from ebay and I’m satisfied!
